Hangovers are no fun! Drinking as little as one drink can trigger one and too much alcohol will leave your central nervous system a mess. Common symptoms include a pounding headache, nausea and dizziness.  That unpleasantness combined with a case of the “oohs and ahs,” as you remember the night’s best and worst moments, will lead to a very bad case of the morning blues.  Dehydration is often the main culprit and, depending on what and how much you drank, the symptoms can last all day.  Here are some tips that really work — if you have ever woken up with one, you don’t need to again!


Drink water between each alcoholic drink
Choose clear liquors or beer
Pass on the sugary drink
Skip the bubbly
Eat before you drink
Drink premium alcohol
Open your window when you sleep
Alcohol poisoning is serious business.  if you are vomiting multiple times, pass out, irregular breathing contact 911.
